How to Make Yourself Irresistible to the Opposite Sex

  1. Step 1
  2. Appeal to all the senses. Choose clothing with soft fabrics that invite the sense of touch, wear fragrances that entice the sense of smell, speak with a sensuous voice and use words that are pleasant to hear, and maintain a well-groomed appearance that is pleasing to the eye.

  3. Step 2

Maintain a positive outlook toward life. Who wants to be around a person who is full of gloom and doom?

  4. Step 3

Make the most of what you have, both physically and mentally. Emphasize your best features while downplaying undesirable traits.

The Iceman: Medical Knowledge We Never Dreamed of 5,200 Years Ago

The Iceman: Medical Knowledge We Never Dreamed of 5,200 Years Ago

Linsey Dyer and Rick Effland

The finding of the Iceman has brought new light from the Stone Age. On September 19, 1991, a body was discovered originating out of the melting ice of a glacier in a small mountain passage named
Tiesenjoch. After the rescue team retrieved the body from the ice, they transported it to the Department of Forensic Medicine in Innsbruck. Where Archaeologist determined the body was a natural mummy. Professor Rainer Henn, Forensic expert, from the Department of Forensic Medicine at the University of Innsbruck said "In order for a body to be completely mummified as in this case, the body must first dry completely then covered in ice and snow." The mummy was an male adult remarkably well preserved. The condition of his equipment and organic material were also preserved in good condition. The age of the body is about 3,300 BC or late Stone Age. After a lot of argument the body was found to be on the Italian side by 300 feet and now resides in a museum there. Today he is known by many as "Ötzi" for the valley in which he was found, but we also know him as "the Iceman."

20 Most Incredible Desert Oases [pics]

The yellow sand dunes stretch to infinity, whilst the scorching sun of the Sahel beats down on your head. You’re tired and you’re thirsty – you’ve been travelling for miles, searching for water. Yet nonetheless you are cautious: nothing is as it seems in this land of smokescreens and mirrors. “Water! Water!” you begin to scream. No… even imagination is playing tricks on you. But what if in the distance, past the undulating sand dunes, lay the waters of sand-locked lagoons and waterfalls surrounded by palm trees?

It is this vision of utopia, surrounded by barren wasteland that inspired us to catalogue some of the most incredible desert oases before they are devoured by the desert sands and become mirages themselves.

1. Ubari Lakes are part of Erg Awbari Oasis in the Sahara. Located near Fezzan and 30kms north of Germa in Libya, these salt water lakes are a central trading point for many locals, who gather at the edges of the lake selling souvenirs and other goods.

Sandra Bullock Happy to be Labeled as Worst Actress

Sandra Bullock Happy to be Labeled as Worst Actress

Sandra Bullock is happy to be labeled as Hollywood’s worst actress.

The 45-year-old star, who has been nominated for the Worst Actress honor at the forthcoming Razzie Awards for her performance in ‘All About Steve,’ insists the ceremony, which salutes the worst film offerings every year, is just as important as the Academy Awards and will be attending both events.

Sandra, who is up for Best Actress for her role in ‘The Blind Side’ at the Oscars, is quoted by website Absolute Now as saying, “I think it’s brilliant. It’s exactly the way it should have happened because it’s a great leveler. If you don’t show up for something like the Razzies then you’re a little hypocritical. You can’t just show up for the good stuff.”

Although she plans to attend both ceremonies, Sandra is more nervous about going to the Razzies, because she doesn’t know what to wear.

She added: “You gotta show up for everything. I can’t wait to go to the Razzies or the Oscars. In a way I’m less nervous about the Oscars because I just don’t know what I’m going to wear to the Razzies. It’s a big night!”

The screen beauty, who picked up an award for Best Actress in ‘The Blind Side’ at the Golden Globes last month, claims she is “more comfortable” with her work being criticised than praised.

She said, “I’m more comfortable with criticism than I am with goodwill, because I’m more familiar with it, and I’ve made friends with it. And the Razzies are a great honor.”

The Razzies take place on March 6, the day before the Academy Awards.
